Steve
Siler, an accomplished
songwriter and music producer, is
the founder and director of Music
for the Soul. The mission of Music
for the Soul is to change lives
through the healing power of songs
and spoken words that resonate with
human experience and reflect the
redemptive love of Jesus.
As a songwriter,
Steve has had over 500 of his songs
recorded in the Christian, pop,
& country markets. Steve has
had CCM songs recorded by Point
of Grace, Avalon, Anointed, Clay
Crosse, The Martins, Aaron Jeoffrey,
Greg Long, Be Be Winans, Bob Carlisle,
Sandi Patty, Scott Krippayne, Tammy
Trent, and Larnelle Harris among
others.
Steve has been nominated
for four Dove Awards, winning the
award in 2000 for Inspirational
Song of the Year with I Will Follow
Christ. Some of his other well known
songs are Circle of Friends, Not
Too Far From Here, Days of Grace,
One Million Reasons, In Honor of
the Father, My Irreplaceable, and
Begin with Me. Steve has had nine
#1 CCM songs and 46 top ten singles
and songs on four platinum records
and two gold records.
In the pop market
Steve has had songs recorded by
such notable artists as Kenny Loggins,
Smokey Robinson, Patti Labelle,
and Patti Austin. Jeff Carson, Julie
Reeves, and The Oak Ridge Boys are
among the country artists that have
recorded Steve’s songs.
Steve believes firmly
and passionately that music is a
gift from God and has the power
to speak healing straight to people's
hearts where words alone can often
