SomeOne Cares 2007
Ridgecrest , NC
"I feel like I am returning home with a toolbox filled to help pain, suffering and disappointments for both others and for myself. Also I now have the contacts of this superb faculty that because of their hearts of love and compassion I feel certain would be available for advice, suggestions, and support! Continue doing what you are doing. Unbelievably strong conference for a first." —Nancy Buhler
SomeOne Cares 2007 was an absolute success in ways only God could have anticipated. Thanks to the generosity of LifeWay and Ridgecrest, everyone enjoyed the inspiring daily praise and worship with Steve Siler of Music for the Soul, stimulating keynote sessions, a phenomenal concert featuring Scott Krippayne, and over forty amazing breakout sessions from some of the premiere speakers in the country. Conferee Nancy Buhler's comments echoed others when she said, "I feel like I am returning home with a toolbox filled to help pain, suffering and disappointments for both others and for myself."
SomeOne Cares Christian Caregiver Conference focuses on the spiritual side of caregiving as well as the physical, financial, and emotional. Conferences are designed to reach those who are searching for spiritual comfort, relief, and direction as they experience the loss, frustration, anger, grief, and hopefully, the joy of caregiving.
"I found people who understood where I’ve been…finally! I have gotten so much info I did not know that I wished I knew a year ago, so my mama could have benefited. I will pay it forward, though. I felt empowered to change things for others in my community." — Sherian Oakley, Tennessee
How can you get involved?
Our goal is to hold multiple conferences throughout the country. If you are a caregiver, a caregiving professional, or a church interested in starting or growing your caregiver ministry, please consider joining us for future conferences.
If your church or organization has a heart to reach caregivers, you might want to consider hosting SomeOne Cares.
SomeOne Cares offers several sponsorship opportunities for businesses, ministries, and others to reach both family and professional caregivers. If you are interested in sponsoring SomeOne Cares conferences please let us know.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
"This conference has been affirmation that I am right where God has planted me in my profession and ministry to the church. [My favorite part was] seeing that people care and that we are in this together as the Body of Christ." — Vickie Green |
